Meanwhile, several Model Y L floor mat sets on Amazon show hundreds or thousands of reviews, which looks great for a car that’s only been on U.S. roads a few weeks. Look closer and those reviews are pooled from other versions of the same listing: one popular set’s reviews come from mats for other cars entirely, and another’s from its Model 3, Cybertruck and five-seat Model Y versions. That tells you nothing about how the six-seat set fits.

Tesla also launched an all-weather rear trunk and seatback liner, rear door sill guards and a parcel shelf for the Model Y L in September 2026, all on its own shop. We’d skip the six-seat mat sets from lesser-known brands with only a handful of reviews until an established mat brand covers the L.
What’s different about the Model Y L
It seats six, with two captain’s chairs in the second row and a third row behind them. That changes the floor shape, the trunk and the roof, so mats, liners, trunk organizers and glass-roof shades made for the five-seat Model Y won’t fit.
